Escape...

for just a moment in time
within an esoteric bubble
where nothing else exists
and nothing else matters
it's not reality
but this is not a dream
it is very real
and it is all things good

And a Happy New Year...

I forgot how much fun it was to go out and have a good time with sisters and friends...  What a wonderful time at Gramophone last night!


My brain was a little preoccupied with a special friend in mind... it hurts me when my friends are struggling with whatever life throws at them... especially when I care as much as I do.


Times I wish I could save the world... and yet I realize that I have my own struggles trying to keep my own world together... 


A co-worker told me that 2011 was going to be a good year for me, after everything that's passed... new beginnings... I want to believe...


Wanting to believe those good wishes that there's something or someone that is going to make things right in my world... yes... I know I deserve goodness... seems so elusive...


And I want these contemplated good things for my family and friends as well... surely wish I knew the secret of making it happen...


Farewell 2010... been through a whole lot this past year especially...


Hello 2011... hope you're bringing the good stuff...

Oh the Holidays....

This is my favorite time of year... always has been... lights, trees, pretty packages and stockings...


This year will be different for us...


But I vow to make it a good holiday for her...


We can do this... we've survived thus far...


But I know it is coming... the sadness... the tears...


And at the same time I know that she knows that it's better this way...


My Christmas wish this year... peace, joy and happiness for the darling angel girl...
